EAGLE EYE - SEARCH AND RESCUE UAV SYSTEM

Eagle Eye is an autonomous search and rescue UAV platform that is designed to assist Search and Rescue teams in all phases of an emergency deployment.

Working with assistance from Urban Search and Rescue NSW (USAR), we looked into different phases of Search and rescue (SAR) scenarios, including all the equipment, vehicles and tactics associated with SAR. Through extensive research in existing UAV production, Eagle Eye encompasses  many life-saving SAR features, including dual-GPS plotting and automation as well as LIDAR and thermal imaging technology for quick victims search & environmental risk analysis.

Build tough using materials like Carbon Fiber and aircraft aluminium, Eagle Eye is capable of withstanding high stresses and loads through multiple use scenarios. This is further reinforced with a modular-part system with integrated IP67 rated connections and joints that can easily be replaced.

MASTERPIECE ADAGIO

Masterpiece Adagio is a concept high-end wireless music system. This concept is based around using simple 3D shapes and cutting away from it's form.

This concept was initially inspired by a capillary wave, which can be seen as the clear 'water droplet' diffusing feature of the speaker, which splits the tweeter from the mid and low frequency sounds of the unit.

Inclusive of the design brief, a range of material choices and colour palette's were selected - Designs will have to be altered per material manufacturing restrictions.

SUNDOCK

Sundock is a collaborative project in collaboration with Alee Sibal, Shalom Ho and Ricky Hunter. We worked as a cross-discipline team to create a conceptual solution to workplace UV protection, regarding sun health and safety awareness.

Sundock is a RFID tap on/off user interface that can be implemented by employers at a work site as a preventative measure for over exposure of UV rays. Sundock tracks each employees shift using RFID wristbands personalised to their UV-exposure each week.

Sundock will alert and dispense an appropriate amount of sunscreen for workers throughout their day at a work site. The aim is to encourage suncreen application and awareness of UV exposure, thus reducing high chances of Cancerous Melanoma.

Sundock's product design was based upon an app-driven user interface. It is powered by a solar panel with internal battery storage. A simple two part construction that can be securely fitted with two bolts onto existing street poles.

CAROMA KARE - Bath

Caroma Kare - Bath is a product range in collaboration with Caroma and product designers:  Adam Drew (Shower) & Richard Pang (Vanity Top)

The brief was to create a bath, vanity top/sink and shower with a similar design language to Caroma's existing product range. The bath was designed as a recessed bath for easier access. The bath also allows for an additional rain shower feature with a foot water spout.
